Magic Johnson has succeeded for years within the business world. Magic knew early within his career that he wanted to be a successful businessman after basketball. He aligned himself with Lakers’ owner, Jerry Buss, who mentored him. Magic’s success on the court and like-able personality made him the perfect fit for business deals. One of Magic’s early successful deals was with Howard Schultz & Starbucks.

Magic knew that Starbucks could be huge within urban areas. He pitched his idea to Schultz and was able to open/own tons of Starbucks within urban areas. Magic also owned and operated a ton of movies theaters. By leveraging his successful movie theater business, it was clear that he was on to something special.

Magic is now the co-owner of the LA Dodgers, Lakers, The Washington Commanders, Equitrust Insurance, & TGI Fridays. Magic’s strategic mindset and incredible business skills have allowed him to accumulate wealth by scaling his firm Magic Johnson Enterprises!
