The Cleveland Browns have been one of the worst teams in the NFL for as long as I can remember. Injuries and coaching changes have been continuous factors that have resulted in the Browns having terrible seasons. The Browns invested in Quarterbacks like RG3 and Johnny Manziel with hopes of them leading the the team to the playoff picture but unfortunately this was far from reality. Just when things could not get any worse for the Browns, a variety of issues always seem to appear in every sports publication.
The Browns have become the team within the NFL that is struggling to remain above water. Companies and sports teams that are struggling to earn revenue and profits over extended periods of time face major issues. This results in investors pulling their capital out of these struggling companies. In addition, consumers will stop purchasing products if the quality becomes lackluster due to decreased funding and resources. If the Browns continue to lose games it may be difficult for the organization to sell tickets and to attract talented players to join its roster. As of right now the Browns are trying to stay above water and they may need a miracle to turn its franchise around.
